At SoMa Neurointerfaces, we design and develop soft, multimodal technologies that advance neural interfacing and neuromodulation. Our mission is to bridge engineering and neuroscience, creating precise, translational solutions for real-world clinical and scientific challenges.
We are a multidisciplinary team of researchers, led by Vasiliki Giagka, and affiliated with Delft University of Technology, in Delft, The Netherlands and the Fraunhofer Institute of Reliability and Microintegration, in Berlin, Germany.
Mission and Vision
Mission: To develop innovative neural interface technologies that seamlessly integrate with the nervous system, enabling high-precision sensing, stimulation, and neuromodulation.
Vision: To bridge the gap between neurotechnology research and clinical application, driving advancements in neural interfacing for both fundamental science and medical innovation.
